    Down this road before

I used Noxzema, every day, for more than 25years, and than it was gone. I managed to find a few more tubes, and I used that every day till it was finished. I switched to Palmolive and we all know what happened with that product.:(

Last August I received two tubes from Mark, and went on an every other day rotation while I tried other products on the off days. I thought I had a solid pipeline for Noxzema. Yes I should have ordered a dozen tubes.:angry032

I'm sure there are alot of people who want to try Noxzema, just to see what all the fuss is about. I'm also sure there are more than a few who want the product to sell on Ebay. Me, I've got at least one more tube coming, I'm going to use it every other day till its gone and than switch to Palmolive Menthol.

Yea, I know, I've been down this road before.

Perhaps another factor is that many of us are pack rats when it comes to creams and soaps. We have far more than we can use, but, nevertheless, have the thought in the back of our minds that we'll get around to everything, eventually. When we hear that a brand we haven't tried is going out of production, we know it's now or never!

There are certain brands which were discontinued which I would not want again even if I was offered them for free. The Gillette lather cream, which was produced in Canada is one of those brands--I despised it.

Thanks to Chimensch I was able to obtain a tube of the Noxzema and I will say it is a treat! Even if it was discontinued I would still attempt to obtain more. The first shave impression was so so b/c the classic Nox scent but then I really appreciated it! I enjoy the original scent and the performance is incredible to add to it! Not to mention the menthol kick always helps also! I will cherish this tube:) Holding this one for myself.

    Noxzema is good...................

    Like the Bible is good.

God shaves his face with Noxzema lather shave. So, it is good.

God is good, and so is Noxzema lather shave.

Noxzema lather shave is good, and so is God.

Are you seeing a pattern yet............................?

    Alberto Culver Purchases P&G's Noxzema
    Posted: September 9, 2008

Alberto Culver has purchased Noxzema from Procter & Gamble (P&G). The acquisition reportedly is an effort by Alberto to strengthen its skin care portfolio, which currently includes the St. Ives brand.

As part of the deal, Albero will operate Noxzema’s business in the United States, Canada and select regions of Latin America, while P&G will continue to operate the shaving care, deodorant and body care businesses under the Noxzema brand in portions of Western Europe.

The financial details were not disclosed. Skincare represents less than a third of Alberto Culver’s business activities, and the addition of Noxzema could mean a renewal for the brand, which is primarily targeted at young adults. The transaction is subject to all normal closing conditions and regulatory approvals.

Likely this is a reference to the cold cream for the female demographic. Noxzema shaving cream hadn't been produced by P&G for years--it was produced under special licence by a third party in Italy.

Jim, Let us not even think of such an atrocity.
