Swedish, Danish, French, Norwegian and English. Trying to get semi-fluent in Vietnamese next but it's proving to be harder than I thought
If you speak very very slowly, I might understand half. I'm better at reading it but no expert. Norwegian I read and understand pretty good.
Ok, I now have to ask - what languages do you have under your belt? And yes, this might be the worst thread-derailment...ever...
With native fluency: NO bragging whatsoever intended) 1) Hebrew (my first language. I'm Israeli 2) French (I went to French private schools as a child) 3) Arabic (6 dialects absolutely fluent) 4) Russian (also a childhood language for me) 5) German (also a childhood language for me) 6) Ukrainian 7) Polish 8) Greek (I lived in Greece for 10 years before moving to Canada) 9) Swahili (I have many friends from Tanzania and Rwanda) 10) Lingala (spoken in Congo-Kinshasa and Congo-Brazzaville) 11) Yiddish (another childhood language) I have a decent command of: 1) Romanian 2) Hungarian 3) English I understand and I can manage brief conversations in: 1) Czech 2) Slovak 3) Bulgarian 4) Serbian And I can read: 1) Farsi 2) Amharic
That reminds me of a lesson I learned from a friend while in Europe. When I traveled two thousand miles West from New York I encountered one culture and one language. When he traveled two thousand miles East from Italy...Well , you get the picture.
Now I know no Norwegian. It sounds like a good soap. But maybe our Norwegian friends have a different style of marketing. " we need a good descriptive word for our soap??" " what about BRUTAL". Wow. It makes me think of a huge Norseman shaving with a sword.
Thought I'd see if anyone here have had any experience with this soap now? There are not a whole lot of recent reviews out there.
