Just curious what everyone's view is on using unused NOS soap? I know its somewhat rare to find soap that is untouched with the brand logo embossed in it (on both sides), and I know some are more rare than others (OS for example).

My question is, if you pick up a mug with the original soap in it do you use it, save it, depends on brand... I just picked up a Barbershop mug with an unused soap puck in it.

I have several that I haven't gotten to yet. The BarberShop Mug soap, vintage Williams, Colgate Cup Soap and a couple without the embossed name on the soap such as Seaforth and Renleigh. Oh, and a puck of Old Spice too.,

the decision to use it or not is entirely up to you. some people love vintage soaps and say they are the best thing ever, while other people may save it because is no longer in production.

SAVE IT! When you retire you'll be able to get at least $15, maybe $20 for it!!!

Seriously, use it. An investment it is not.
