The 30-Day Focus Thread is my favorite. I find my technique has improved with both SE and DE razors. I enjoyed the antics, winced at the fails, and have become a big fan of the 30-Day Crew. I'm ready for December.
Then you really should try the Tiger 3H blade. When I tried one, I really felt I was living in a post-apocalyptic world where I had to shave with the lid of a ration tin honed on a bit of rubble. That said, I have to agree with you about the focuses. I did one back in October and it really improved my technique and understanding of my face. JR
I'll take his word for it, since he sent them to me. Which ever one, I do like it. I am in danger of not needing a shave tomorrow, except one or two little, tiny patches. This was probably more of a DFS + shave, minus the two patches.
I have shaved with one of the tigers. I would prefer the rusty can lid. It would cut better leaving me with a more comfortable shave.
I'm Thinking about using a Gem featherlight with a SS PTFE coated blade tonight with Chisled Face Tradewinds. I'll decide on aftershave before I get there.
Yeah the 30-day mantra - "technique, technique, technique" blah, blah blah. I'm here cause I just can't get enough of that photo above with MrC and the 30Day Crew! I've long wondered how @NCoxSTL , center at top, shaves that huge crevasse between his cheekbone and jaw? I mean, how do you flatten that out?!! Congrats on all the posts Brian! Great to read all your posts here, and happy that you're hanging in there with this gang. :hooray:
Day 28 - 29 November 2015 No Variation November! Automatic! 18F and a super slow day on the prairie. Other than that...all is quiet in Colorado. Have a sterling Monday!
I like you all enough to support the use of questionable items to shave with, and the sharing of the fun. I will encourage fun things like straights for everyone. (And the ones I am willing to loan this group are sharpened and disinfected, so I must like you guys a little bit.
