Arko lathered well, I really enjoy using it. This was a very refreshing smooth shave after a long day.

Should have gotten a safety razor tossed in with your new car, Neal. Then this bloodletting might not have happened....

That is one sweet set up, Patrick. I really like the Slugger handle on the G2. I might could go for one of those. :signs002:

Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: Personna
    Razor: Schick B1 repeater
    Brush: Omega 10049 boar
    Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat
Post: Witch hazel, Fine American Blend aftershave

Smooth and comfortable shave this morning with The Fat and the B1 repeater. This is a home run combination for me. I tried bowl lathering today after some of the conversation this week. Got some nice lather that I painted on but I missed the scrubbing action of face lathering. I have some nice bowls for lathering and should bowl lather more often, but today's efforts do not make me a convert.

Fine shave in the end. Happy Friday, everyone!

A fantastic shave to start the day. This brush is a joy to use face lathering. The Envy White has great backbone and flow through with just a touch of scritch. A traditional 3 pass shave had the baby in sight so I decided to do a 4 pass on my lower right neck. The shave would have been Epic were it not for the one operator induced weeper. A splash of Fine Lavender and I think I am ready for the day. I hope everyone has a great Friday.

    November 2018 Recap

I started the with the plan of rotating through my 3 beehive brushes. However watching all the great gear coming up daily in the No Repeat November, I decided to rotate through all my brushes using each just once. I primarily used SE razors this month revisiting old favorites like the Cobra Classic and Brass General. I finished up the month with my newly acquired Supply SE injector. No soaps finished this month but I did continue to move a few closer to the finish line.

As usual the best part of the month was the banter and friendship with the member of the 30DC. It was nice to see new members join like Terry and returning members like Patrick. Thank you all for another good month and thank you for allowing me to participate. See you next month.

    Fat Friday!
    Great shave and picture, Perry!
I bowl lather and scrub, not to the extent of face lathering though. I too like the feel of the brush.

Thank you, Clint! Quite glad it's Friday. Wonderful photo and recap. That Oxford & Cambridge soap looks fairly close to the finish line. Hope your commute goes well and that you can perhaps knock off early for a beer or two!
