I did have a nice afternoon yesterday, thank you. I do like the PAA products. The scents a excellent, and the performance is about as good as you will find. Thank you for the kinds words!

I would get them from @Linuxguile and his Andrew's Shave Shop on Etsy. That's where I got mine. Wonderful service and price.

No plans, Charlie. As for deals, IB had some very good sales last year for Black Friday. I believe a few of the Fine soaps were about 1/2 price, as were some Omega brushes and Nacet blades. Lots of other things too, but those were the ones that interested me.

    Thanks, Perry.
Andrew's was the first place I looked. He didn't have any listed. We're getting together Friday to return one another's razors. If he has any available I'll get them from the man himself.

Is there such a thing as a ‘vintage’AC safety razor, Clint? Anyone? Or were the blades originally produced for shavettes or kamis?

Stunning combo, Jim. The Port-au-Prince didn’t grow on me, either. Lots of folks love it though. The good news is that there are one or two other Stirling scents to try...
Very cool gear this morning, Brian. Rare razor, LE brush, Top tier splash...and...Body Shop.:)
What a great display, Doug. Have a great day!
Very nice, Clint. I look forward to checking in daily to see what brush you’ve pulled!
Awesome write up, Joseph. I stand by what I said at the beginning of November, though. You’ll be pulling another AS out before the end of the month...:scared003:
Love the scales on that razor, Paul!

    November 10

Gillette Z-3 Super Speed Flare Tip
    Ladas Super Stainless (3)
B-400 by Tom handle & Envy White supreme two-band knot
Hendrix Classics & Co. soap (4)
Alum, Thayers Lavender witch hazel, unrefined shea butter, and Blood on Steel

I enjoyed another nice and easy two-pass shave with this setup on two days of growth. Everything just worked well together for a near BBS shave, and the Blood on Steel made for an excellent finish. Ladas Super Stainless blades are winners in my book - plenty sharp and nearly as smooth as a Voskhod! I've got at least four remaining shaves on the Hendrix Classics soap sample. It's a top tier soap!

Have a fantastic and restful weekend!

What a classy set up, Clint. The O.R.E.N. is another sweet looking SE razor that has my eye (great price, but I'm not completely sold on the head design), and your Wild West Brushworks 30mm Tuxedo is something else! That bad boy should eat up your soaps in a hurry. I look forward to seeing all your brushes in rotation during the remainder of the month.

Thanks, Jason. Unfortunately none of the scent descriptions of the mutton tallow sound appealing to me.

No vintage AC razors. They were originally designed for barbers to use in shavettes. The Cobra Classic was the first AC razor. The Mongoose was the first 3 piece AC razor made. Now there are many more choices in AC razors. The real selling point of the razors is the blade itself.

Thank you Jason. This might get me in trouble. I’m not sure my wife knows how many brushes are in the cabinet.

Thank you Charlie. The razor is aesthetically challenged to say the least.
