The wife just informed me we need to make a grocery store run. Not as lazy a day as I thought.

Thank you, gentlemen! I was actually surprised when I looked and realised how much of a period shave I could put together, not just with hardware from then but with software still in use today. Wetshavers are a conservative crew...

On Veterans Day, thank you to all those that served. Also, thank you to those that are serving now.

I decided to use the Thäter 4125/3 with the MdC original scent. The Thäter is very dense with super soft tips making it a pure joy to use face lathering. Taking time to add water slowly, I ended up with a luxurious lather with the scent filling the room. Since I had the time, I went with a traditional three pass shave and easily caught the baby. One operator induced weeper prevented an Epic Shave. A splash of Myrsol Agua Balsamica and I am ready for the day. We are off to my visit my wife's Uncle for a Diwali lunch. Diwali is the Indian festival of lights. I hope everyone has a great Sunday.

Rather than focussing on frivolous matters such as shaving; today I will spend my energy thinking about the brave men and
women of our United States of America, who selflessly and courageously serve our beloved country.
    God Bless America

    NCoxSTL AAACK!

A real man might use a lawnmower blade, but a REAL man would use it while the lawnmower was running! I sense a crack in the resistance. Now qualifying what they do or don't deny. Breaking down resistance for the common good is a marathon, not a sprint.

Thank you, Gentlemen. It was only one shave, but I would recommend this large SynBad knot to anyone.

Sounds like a great start to a nice day, Jim. The pic is amazing, as usual.
What a great combo and write up, John. Sorry to hear you have to work today.
Have a great lunch, Clint. I'm salivating already!

    RyX DoH!

A friend of my father has a small forge he uses to temper steel lawn mower blades. You've got me thinking...

Soap is cheap, decadent lather with a little left over isn't much of a waste. Using that extra lather to take an error free fourth pass is a First World privilege. Not like you were going to send your leftovers to starving bearded Third World children. Great shave report!

Everything worked well together this morning for a near BBS shave - about as good as they come for me in two passes. We just got home from our church worship service and our weekend family Bible study group. It's a beautiful afternoon, so we plan to meet some friends at our home construction site and then share an early dinner with them.

I hope you all are having a blessed Sunday.
