Not an interest per se, Gary. Just an acknowledgement that they are beautiful razors. I had a 40s US Crat on loan a few years ago, and liked it, but didn’t find it different enough to want to buy. Now, one of the TTO OC ‘Crats are a definite want, for sure.

Early start as usual. Great shave. If you have not tried the Clubman Shave Lather I do think you should. It works great with a brush.

    Good morning!

Terrific shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. Silent alum.

I adore the scent and performance of the Hemingway Accoutrements cream but I do seem to struggle getting the consistency and quantity of lather I'm looking for. I just don't start with enough. I have very little experience with shave creams.

First use of a CVS blade, nice! Very smooth.

    Have a great day! [IMG]

It wasn't too bad. About 10 inches where I'm at. The plows were able to keep up so all in all uneventful.

I’m liking this razor more and more every time I shave with it. I do use some of my razors for just face shaves (i.e. Rex Ambassador), but my top criterion is versatility. If a razor has a sweet spot that delivers both head and face utility, that ticks all my boxes. Another great two pass BBS shave. I feel cool, clean and refreshed!

    SOTD 11/29/19

POSTSHAVE: Face and dome wash w/ brush squeezings followed by Fine Snake Bite and finished with L’Occitane Cade AS Balm

I finished off my 3-fer(Triple Play, Trifects)of Stoylin's Ramblin Man. Got another great shave. This was one of those "Boy, I need that 2nd pass" shaves. I've had many like that. Solid neck work again.

The day after and I can still close my pants...
    :happy036:

On such a cloudy day, I really needed a shiny soap, so out came the Eufros.
Once again, using Merkurman's technique, I was rewarded with this super-goopy, shiny mass of unctuousness.

If you have never experienced a CH3, I am here to tell you that this brush holds more soap
than any other brush I have ever wielded. Incredible.
The massively dense knot, combines solidity and softness, with a hint of scrub, and takes face-lathering to new extremes.
One of the great artisans in the shave-soap world is Manuel. He not only produces an exquisite soap,
but his nose for scents is unparalleled. Subtile, yet unmistakable.
This is the kind of product, which puts most other soap-makers to shame.
The razor today was a Boker Red-Injun.
Yes, the name is not particularly PC, but I just shave with it,
    I didn't name it.
Prepped on the CR-Ox Linen/SRP 3" and finished on the Savin, the Boker shaved the 24 hour

stubble without effort, without irritation and without blood-letting.
A few of my typical lower-neck patches remain, but I have it on good authority, that
I won't be necking with Heidi Klum this afternoon. :sexe: :sad023:
Rubbed some Thayer's Medicated WH in and after the dry-down, gave the Floïd Blue
atomizer a good work-out, applying the coveted juice to the freshly shaved face.

Thanks Jim...The usual reason I "need that 2nd pass" pertains to skipping over facial areas. I imagine most shavers here do extra passes only because they have enough soap on their brushes to do so(course that was a factor for me, as well).
