Sounds like an excellent shave, Joe. I wouldn’t worry about a hair or two.

The replating on that razor looks fantastic, Neal. The New Deluxe is a fine razor, no question.

    NCoxSTL AAACK!

I was blown away when that razor came back from plating. Absolutely blown away. I thought he did a great job on my '47 Superspeed but he surpassed that by miles on this one.

Thanks, Jason! I have had the brush since June and I would have thought that the shedding would've ended. I would say that I have lost about 30 to 40 hairs. I don't think that is a good thing. I expect a Stirling brush to be better. I really can't complain because I really didn't pay for the brush.

It was a very relaxing day. I didn't make it through Black Friday unscathed. I took advantage of the the Black Friday sale on the Rex Ambassador.

I had a feeling you would eventually go for the Rex Ambassador. I don't blame you because it has a good reputation. Congrats!

Congrats! I think I’m going to last through this day. I did spend quite a bit on a vintage razor last week, though.

Lot's t0 do today so I will try to catch up on the posts later but here is my last shave of the month.

Fresh of touch up the edge was smooth and sharp. One of my favorite brushes an ebonite Shavemac and my top cream, C&F, everything lived up its reputation and the shave was epic.

Maybe I should take a picture of Sunday's shave and post it in the thread :signs002:

    No Repeat November

    Good morning!

    Complete!
Thirty shaves, thirty different razors, thirty different blades, thirty different brushes, thirty different soaps and thirty different aftershaves.
It has been fun but I'm looking forward to changing things up by not changing things up so much.
I have no idea what I'm doing for December.

First use with the Occam's DE. I used what they describe as the open comb. Terrific shave! Three passes for near BBS. Just the faintest tickle from the alum. Good amount of blade feel without being harsh in the slightest. Grippy handle, never felt the need to run my fingertips across the alum. One shave in and I'm happy with the purchase.

    Have a great weekend! [IMG]
