Very nice, Danny. I don't have the Jaws, (did, but sold the head), I have the OC .84 Game Changer. Same razor except the teeth are slightly closer together and there are 12 as opposed to, I think...9 on the Jaws. First of all, this razor shaves well-above its price point. There is zero chatter and the gap is by and large perfect. Head geometry is also excellent. Not to tall. Good heft and the balance is spot on. What you are attempting to describe is an outstanding shaver. BTW, the only reason I didn't keep the Jaws was that I could not tell a bit of difference so there was no reason to keep it.

That’s what I hear around these parts...
I’ve never had the pleasure of using it though.

Thanks for your thoughts Joseph. It is an interesting razor that has me puzzled. Could this razor out shave my ATTs and Karve? :signs002: I do know one thing.......Danny must spend more time with said razor. :) Hope the rest of your weekend great.

Dominica has a stellar reputation and now, because of its unavailability, that reputation has reached unicorn status. Think Floïd Blue. As far as being the BEST...that would be quite subjective. IMO, it's very good and I am fortunate to own two bottles, but I get just as much pleasure using the Ogallala Bay Rum, Limes & Peppercorns and you can buy a bottle on many websites.

I'll say this about the Game Changer. It shaves every bit as good as my Wolfman, for 1/6th the cost.

Northern style for breakfast, southern style for dinner.
Switch it up by adding jalapeño peppers, pimentos, or both.
Yea, cornbread is a great staple.

    Thanks Joe!

After my first year or so using a DE razor, I lost a little spot on my jaw that had been there for years. I probably would have lost it sooner with one of them there razors of yours, Terry.

Your grub sounds good to me too!

That works for me although I’ve never thought to put pickle relish on the ham. Sweet or dill?

I'm still plugging away with my Trac II focus. This is actually a mild razor, but two-pass near BBS shaves are the norm now that I have the blade angle and pressure dialed in. (Since the Trac II head has two blades, I'm doing the equivalent of 4 passes most of the time.) I have no problem shaving ATG on two days of growth, buffing, or J-hooking using this razor.

I've been using Captain's Choice Bay Rum daily and have decided it's not as appealing (to me) as my menthol-containing aftershaves. The Bay Rum scent is pleasant and appropriate for cooler weather, but it seems heavier and less refreshing. I'll use up this bottle over the winter and happily move on.

I spent some time today sifting through my forum posts looking for my "lessons learned." I've got my Tools listed in My Shave Den. I plan to add a section on Technique to include these lessons and resources that have been helpful to me. Over the last couple of years, I've decided that working on my technique was more important than buying the latest and greatest gear. Maybe this will help someone as they are getting started. I'll let you guys know as I begin adding things, and I would welcome your feedback on things to include.

I hope you all are having a restful weekend. It was sunny and in the high 70s here today. Some friends came over, and we had a great visit on the deck. Some brown juice distilled over the hill was served at one point.
