    Well good morning all.
    Wanted a quick shave today.
So I grabbed what I would call the most efficient DE razor I have.
Don't get me wrong, I have a few.
But not only is this efficient, it will bite if not handled with great care.

The Ryan's @PLANofMAN slant DEvette is the one that will shave closer than any other DE or SE blade holder I own.
The one that comes close is Danny's @Hembree DEvette.
Tom's @twhite DEvette is great, although its design is more miled.

I can't believe I'm comparing these razor blade holders, let alone using them every day.
Well they are all great tools, any one of them will give you a great shave.

Gonna go off into the world today and see just how its getting by.
I got no place to go...... and all day to get there.
    Woo hoo!

    Enjoy!

    Den update:

I have been concentrating on soaps and using some to completion, have sold a couple and have PIFed a couple. Glad to report I am down to 17 soaps and creams at the moment. I've finished off four soaps this year and one sample. I'd eventually like to get down to 15 soaps and then perhaps whittle down to 5-10. Staying off the forums for a while certainly limits your appetite for getting the new stuff, so that has helped as far as acquisitions.

This month I'm rotating through the 17 soaps and creams to see if any emerge as a candidate for removal. Yesterday's shave was with Stirling Gentleman soap and Soap Commander Justice aftershave. Pretty nice.

    Enjoy your day!

Awesome shave Barry! In the US, we have Memorial Day to honor our dead veterans and Veteran's Day for the ones that are still with us.

I'm a little late joining in but I've been traveling for work and will be for most of Nov. So since a little before the start of the month, this has been my setup. It's working great so far.

Timeless Ti .68 with scalloped safety bar and cap.
Personna US-made store brand blades - they feel about the same as Labs to me and have a good dispenser for travel. Alas, they haven't been made for a while now.
22mm Tuxedo synthetic brush - I didn't like this brush at first. It didn't want to splay and felt very springy. After a few weeks of use it has loosened up a bit and I think it's pretty good now. It has nice soft tips and makes really good lather.
B&M Reserve Classic soap - great performance of course. The cologne scent of it is ok but not one of my favorite B&M scents. It'll do though.
Aqua Velva - it doesn't get much better. I like changing up scents sometimes but AV is by far my favorite after shave.
