Walmart and Kroger near me have empty shelves where the TP (and paper towels) is supposed to be. Three weeks ago, they were fully stocked.

 

That's a life lesson for your daughter hopefully.
I hope she recovers soon.

 

We picked up a 6 pack at Publix for close to $15. The threat of lockdowns has people freaking out

There are not too many shaves left with the dwindling MWF I have left in the dish. I'll continue to use it up as part of uberlathers until its demise.

3 easy passes with the Fatboy, set on #7, provided a very comfortable and efficient result this morning. No irritation or mishaps to report.

 

Geez, that's highway robbery! You'd think folks would have learned after the initial "panic scare" in March - you can still go to a store.

Just chalk it up as a story that will be told repeatedly over the next few years, and expect it to be embellished over time. We have family stories about kicking in a TV screen (and replacing the TV before dad got home), driving a tractor through the side of a barn (and repairing the damage before dad got home), and knocking out a cow with a 2x4 (and relieved that the cow lived and revived before dad got home). There are more.

In our family, I believe we could have even healed a broken bone before dad got home.

 

I am still waiting for several hundred more razor to magically come in to the den.

Thankfully, I made a couple of modest purchases from Connaught this summer before the price increases and while they still offered free shipping.



No scrambling anticipated here for this old hillbilly if a favorite product gets discontinued...
