    Yup.........

I have multiple emails to P&G with no reponse. They would be the top of the food chain for now. I only wanted to find out the names of a few distributers so I could arrange a group buy directly from them. No such luck. But, I will keep trying.........

I anyone else gets any answers, let me know, and I will do whatever needs to to get as much as I can.

Apparently the company is really not that concerned with profits or sales since they are holding back or too lazy to make it? Oh well:) I wish I made a shaving cream that was in high demand!

Unfortunately, the company sees no, or not enough future in the cream, or perhaps to them, there isn't enough demand for it. Remember, we traditional wetshavers are a very small minority against the rest of most other men. Strangely it seems, because in Europe, there are more traditional wetshavers than here in North America.

    Well Jeff,
Since my quick excitement of obtaining this cream got shot down:( What would be a close alternative? Ingram? I am going to get on the waiting list but for whatever reason it doesnt pan out I would like an alternative. Rollsshaver had mentioned one but it to had been discontinued.

Oh, yes! Ingram is a beautiful cream, which I find is similar in a lot of ways to Noxzema. You get great lather, and ice-cold feeling menthol, and a gentle skincare. My friend, did you know Ingram is well-sold not only in the UK, but all over the Middle East as well? And for cheap, cheap, cheap money! ;)

Jeff, I have been trying to contact the UK branch of P&G unsuccessfully. IF you go on the UK P&G site, they have phone numbers you can call, but they are odd numbers that do not make sense to me. If someone from the over there could call, they might find something out about where we can get a large shipment of this stuff.

I have a tube of Prep shaving cream, and I use it once in a while. I never tried the soap version of it, however. I find the Prep cream has similar lather to the Noxzema, with a good skincare, also very cooling and fresh, but the scent is not too much my satisfaction, although it is not unpleasant. No, I still want to have Noxzema! :D

Damn, it says it is in stock, but then when you go to order, it is not. You could always get it from Gio. I have never been disappointed with him. Although, it can be a pain in the ass ordering sometimes.

Alberto-Culver Company announced that it had signed an agreement to acquire the worldwide rights and trademarks to the Noxzema skin care brand from The Procter & Gamble Company. The agreement includes the existing business in the United States, Canada and portions of Latin America.

Procter & Gamble will continue to operate its existing Noxzema shave care, antiperspirant/deodorant, body wash and body soap business in portions of Western Europe. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including obtaining certain regulatory approvals.

Commenting on the agreement, Alberto-Culver President and Chief Executive Officer V. James Marino said, "Noxzema is an iconic U.S. skin care brand and our team is very excited to add Noxzema to our beauty care product portfolio. The Noxzema brand has great equity among consumers and, together with our existing St. Ives skin care brand, will provide us with significant opportunities for growth in the skin care category."

Carol Lavin Bernick, Executive Chairman of the Company, stated, "With the pending acquisition of Noxzema, the board reaffirms our commitment and focus on skin care. Noxzema is a brand with strong potential for our existing portfolio."

So, the UK branch of P&G is still in charge of the shaving products.

ahhhhh, but if the company does not keep the lather cream in production, or if they do not allow for North America to produce, then.........

I sent an email to Schiapparelli, which is the company the Italian vendors have listed as the manufacturer.

I'm curious as to why some people refer to shaving cream in a can as "goo." It isn't goo. Goo, to me, is something sticky that doesn't rinse clean. Canned shaving cream rinses clean with no stickiness at all.
