Wonderful photo Mark. In the spirit of making sure I get what I want for my Birthday or Christmas, I ordered 3 tins of Mike's yesterday. Looking forward to giving them a try in 2018.

Thank you Mark. I really like the color of the handle and the big 30mm Tuxedo works great.

Reef Point Tranquility is very similar to Cambridge & Oxford. Both have Peppermint over a background of Lavender. Three passes and touch ups ended in a near perfect shave. No time or desire to chase the baby today. A splash of Fine Lavender and I am off to visit my Mother. I hope everyone has a great Sunday.

It’s not that mysterious, I’m sure you’ll see some brush handle pics soon, but they only got there a few days ago.
Yes, the USPS might not have been completely informed....

    Razor: Thick-Cap Ball-End OT
    Blade: Astra SP
    Brush: Razorock Plissoft 22
    Cream: KMF fragrance-free
    Post: Alum, Listerine, WH

A little over two years ago, I got my first OT, a 20's Thick Cap with spotty nickel plating. I was new to this journey and a bit afraid of it based on various comments I had read about OTs. Instead, I found it mild and efficient. (It wouldn't be until later that I'd learn that the aggressiveness comments apply more to the Thin Cap.) This shave, like that one, was efficient and issue-free.

Thank you, Mark! The game was a lot of fun, especially helpful 9th inning when the Dodgers pulled it out.

Question on shave soaps-is leaving them in the mug uncovered until next use OK to do?

I must say, I'm happy to have a good number of Rise Cooling Balms(A.S.)..around to help me with my NB18 challenge. It's a nice post-shave, nothing fancy, but it does it's job well. In a post some months ago, I wrote that it must be similar to Lucky Tiger in that there isn't much fragrance but it leaves a great face-feel.

Thanks! I'll keep the Mike's Natural Soap in mind.

Things are actually going pretty well. The Cardiac Cath went fine with no need for a stent; I just really need to work on losing weight. I have a follow-up with a hand surgeon on the 8th about the Carpal Tunnel which is down to just a mild annoyance ATM. The big push at home is getting our daughter ready for her big move to NC next month.

Thank you again, Charles and everyone, for you well wishes.

Thanks, Charlie. I take quite a few pics on an antique quartersawn oak wardrobe that is part of a set my mother bought us for a wedding gift.
My usual OT is a little more agressive and maybe not as smooth as my LC. If I don’t get this new to me OT dialed in, it may be coming your way...

Thanks very much Charlie. These Personna blade are excellent. The only one I get more shaves out of are Personna 74 Tungsten. They last about a month.
