Great Figurine and photo Charlie. Great looking razor and photo. Can you tell us about your setup for stropping the blades? Do you have some kind of blade holder? Great photo Perry.
I wiped off two days growth like it was nothing with this beauty . Mitchell’s Wool Fat Soap B-400 Brush by Tom Frederick Reynolds Razor Lucky Tiger Pinaud Clubman After Shave Have a great week!
Thank you Jason. It was really hilarious watching the girls pick out their designs and paint the pumpkins. I had the best time just being a spectator.
Nice statue! I hope the hospital trip goes well, Charlie. Nice Menthol Monday set ups, Gentlemen! Nice set up, Perry. The Palmolive is just a no-frills, reliable and productive soap. Great looking gear, Brian!
First, I'm glad to hear Maya is doing well and sorry to hear you are not. As for stropping the blade, because it is in a Valet Autostrop, I strop the blade as the razor was designed with the blade in the razor. I will take some pics and post them here tomorrow of how I strop the blade.
SOTN OCtober 29th Gillette New Short Comb Treet New Steel Stirling Boar Brush Stirling Baker Street soap Stirling Mountain Man AS With use the Stirling boar continues to fan out as the tips split making it feel like a very large brush. It took a little longer for the Boar knot to get filled with lather as I "Super Gooped" some Stirling Baker Street out of my VDH bowl. The lather was thick, slick, dense, and shiny and made the perfect foundation for the New SC and the Treet New Steel to glide across my face wiping away whiskers as they went. Super comfortable shave and very impressed with the Treet considering some of the negative reviews that are floating around out there. Splashed on a bit of Mountain Man and was smooth, relaxed, and smelling great. Have a great day my friends!
Thank you, Clint. I think my pictures seem to have a similar look because I take them at night. Usually before I lay the gear out for an early morning shave. I often enhance the colour when I edit them on my iPad, though.
