    Great looking setup. Bravo.

The High Speed soap sounds like a one I would enjoy.

TOBS is some really good stuff for sure.

Thank you Andrew. Even though the iPhone takes great photos, I like to use the 35mm DSLR when I have time. It just seems to capture the image better.

    Gillette New LC
    Gillette 7 O'Clock Super Stainless (2)
    Tabac
    Simpson's CH2 Synthetic
Avon Wild Country in The Bishop decanter

After being sick for the last 6 days and missing work the last 3 I was finally feeling well enough to return to work, which mean I had a lot of scruff to shave off. I don't know if it was the Tabac or the CH2 or combination of the two but I whipped up the creamiest, shiniest, super goop (Jared style) lather ever. The 7 O'C SS and the New LC had no problem with the 5 or so days of growth that I threw at them. Finished with a very light application of Wild Country before bed. Unfortunately I did not have a restful night as my son is also sick, and on top of that cutting his second tooth which is causing him more discomfort then the first one.

Before I fell victim to a nasty viral infection (I almost thought it was the Flu, but I tested negative) I promised Charlie @wristwatchb that I would take the FaTip Piccolo for another spin with a decent blade. This was my shave Saturday, before my symptoms kicked into high gear:

    FaTip Piccolo
    Gillette 7 O'Clock Super Stainless
    The Blades Grim "Cinder"
    Ever-Ready H40

The Piccolo did indeed turn out to be a two pass BBS machine. After the first WTG I was in DFS territory and went with a second diagonal ATG pass, with a little bit of buffing, to seal the deal.

Veteran owned and if I didn't have enough soaps I'd probably go again with another scent

    Gillette Sheraton

Same shave for the last 2 days. Nice results but a bit of a rough shave.

Thank you, Charlie. It seems that we are both on the upswing. But we still have a little way to go to get back to normal

TOBS Avocado was my very first "good" shaving cream. It performs well and is much less expensive than many other shaving creams. Just like you, I could have stopped right there in my search for the "perfect" soap or cream and just shaved. But I fell down the rabbit hole!

Thanks, Andrew. No question about TFS designs... and this label is actually better than others they have. Mastro Miche looks like Bill Nye got personal care advise from the scientist on Back to the Future. And, what's with the rainbow? Looks like something from My Little Pony.
