Quick update: I had the Cardiac Catherization yesterday. It went well, the only blockage was 50%, which is not enough for a stent. They went in through the artery in my wrist, so I'm largely one-handed for a bit. Thank you for your prayers. Sent from my KFAPWI using Tapatalk
John, I'm glade the procedure went well and that you will not need a stent. Are they able to treat/ reduce the blockage that you do have in any way ?
Thank you, Charlie! I hope I am not traveling any time soon ( ), but I will definitely keep that in mind if I do.
You have a first rate lineup Charlie. I really should consider the d’Hermes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thank you both. The surgeon is running behind so with a little luck they’ll get started within the next hour or so. I’ll keep you posted. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I tried a cleaning method that really did a number on boar bristles. Vinegar is a diluted acid. mixing with water reduces the effect of removing mineral deposits on the bristles. I was hoping to clean a couple well broken in boars, but ended up softening them quite a bit. Might have been too rich of a vinegar solution, or left in for too long. Enjoying the scritch and backbone of my boars I was a little disappointed by how soft they became. Keep in mind Charlie's following prophetic comment; ( And Neal's disclaimer that I added to my signature. )
Beautiful photo and lineup Doug! Well, I would've removed the leaf above the log. Too much contrast, and very distracting. And, the branch next too it. Maybe crop the skyline down a little bit.... Kidding!! I certainly can't show any of my shaving gear your pics. They'd be jealous, since they never get to leave the bathroom, let alone go for a walk in nature!
Thank you gentlemen. I have been taking an online course in outdoor SOTD photography. It's been a really good class. I have learn a lot. The instructor is a guy by the name of @Douglas Carey over at TSDU. He has made go outside off my comfort zone and look for shots outside. I didn't know what I had Andrew until this morning when I started Googling the decanter. It didn't come with the box when I got it. It's called the Big Blue Whistle. It is supposed to be a police whistle. I guess that is why it's blue. From what I found it is from the early '70's. I picked it up for what was inside. Online I have seen it with Spicy and what I have, Tai Winds.
How do you like the Tai Winds ? Any ideas on what its comparable to ? Wild Country reminds me a whole lot of Stetson.
Ummmmm? I thought kind of like their Brisk Spice almost. A little more Stetsony. I am not the best one to ask about scents. Though now that you have I will check again this evening and ask the Wife What she thinks than get back to you.
I would agree with Clint. Shambala and Capri are very similar. Shady Past is a nice aftershave, but again not far removed from Shambala and Capri. In order of likability I would say Capri, Shady Past, and then Shambala.
