Razor: Timeless Stainless Steel Open Comb w/Timeless Plaid Handle Blade: Gillette Platinum (5) Brush: Shavemac Zebra, Honeycomb 2 Band Soap: Jeeves Soaps Turkish Bath Aftershave: Captain's Choice Sandalwood A very close comfortable shave again. Changed to the Timeless Plaid Design handle today. It's an excellent handle both in length and balance.
I had a great shave with my Wolfman OC today. I decided to mix it up and use my #4 aluminum handle instead of my #2 SS handle. I surprisingly got a closer shave with less touchup using the lighter handle. I'm not sure why, but I just feel more comfortable using razors with a head heavy balance.
October 26, 2016 iKon B1 OC with Hempel Ti Feather (3) Rudy Vey Rover with TGN Finest AOS Sandalwood Witch Hazel Captain’s Choice Sandalwood A good shave this morning. After 3 passes and touch ups, I ended up with the usual near BBS. However, the shave was not as smooth as the previous 2 shaves with this razor. The AOS Sandalwood soap was a gift from my wife and daughters. While it is easy to lather, I find it not as slick as most of my other soaps. Overall I would grade the shave out as an "A-" I finished off the shave with Captain's Choice Sandalwood. I hope everyone has a great Wednesday.

Today i used the Ikon Shavecraft 101. Its actually only open comb on one side. Is this just gimmicks? Can anyone say if the different sides are a benefit? I use the open for two passes, then the bar for the last. I'm not sure if it matters, just what i gathered was the WAY. Whada Y'all think?

Razor: Timeless Stainless Steel Open Comb w/Timeless Plaid Handle Blade: Gillette Platinum (6) Brush: El Druida Cocobolo w/ Druida Manchurian Soap: Route 66 Perfect Storm Aftershave: Floid Vigoroso The handle in this brush is Cocobolo which is a tropical hardwood of Central American trees belonging to the to the genus Dalbergia . Only the heartwood is used; this is typically orange or reddish-brown in color, often with a figuring of darker irregular traces weaving through the wood. The handle has a nice orange hue to it. The shave was great accompanied with a new brush always helps for me. My traditional 3 passes with minimal clean up.
I need to find a decent stropping handle for mine, I just don't seem to be able to strop it well without one.
The Bunny is an open comb injector razor that believe me, delivers a seriously close shave. 10 hours later and I am still smooth.
October 27, 2016 Timeless OC .95 Gap with Triad Ti Feather (1) Rudy Vey Rover with TGN Finest Route 66 Twisted Tweed Witch Hazel Floid Blue A very good shave this morning. I know it is boring but the Route 66 soaps just flat works. They are so easy to lather and are very slick. Back to the Timeless OC for the next few days. With such a large blade gap, this razor will bite if you don't pay attention. The Timeless also requires a much steeper angle than my other razors as well. So it is not surprising that I ended up with a small weeper on my third pass. Overall I would give the near BBS shave an "A-". I finished up with a splash of Floid Blue. I hope everyone has a great Thursday.

Razor: Timeless Stainless Steel Open Comb w/Timeless Barber Pole Handle Blade: Gillette Platinum (7) Brush: El Druida Cocobolo w/ Druida Manchurian Soap: Route 66 Perfect Storm Aftershave: Floid Blue Excellent 3 pass with a minor touch up today. The Gillette Platinum has stood the test of time giving me 7 excellent close comfortable. As is my rule I'll change to a Feather Platinum blade tomorrow. The Barber Pole handle is of outstanding weight and balance for me. I can truly say that there isn't a Timeless handle I don't like. Each brings their own personality to the party. YMMV. Snow started today for the first time this year. There you go. Start. Later.
Fantastic looking brush. I like those shapes. They are very comfy to hold. Tom Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
