Excellent shave with these tools. Close comfortable DFS. I have a few weeps I'm keeping an eye on so no BBS today.

I missed yesterday's post and today is late so I figured to put them up at the same time. First the British aristocrat is the one that I chose yesterday and as always I was pleased and amazed by the shave, quite possibly Gillette's best offering in a TTO razor. Everything works with it, efficient, smooth, nice heft and balance.




Today I went with the Schick C1 repeating razor, another excellent design and a very smooth shaver in its own right. Two excellent shaves with completely different razors . I wish everything was this easy!

This 1901 Star is a little unusual in that the guard features a pierced "KSR" rather than the usual "STAR." Kampfe Safety Razor? Kampfe Star Razor? Who knows?

The shave is very similar to the other Kampfe Bros. lather catchers, that is, smooth and aggressive. These razors definitely require the user to pay attention, but can deliver a great shave.

A wonderful shave this morning to help with hump day. I absolutely love the DK7 brush from the ergonomic handle to the wonderful knot. The DK7 whipped up the Rossa quickly into a rich slick lather. Sticking with a traditional 3 pass shave and minimal touch ups ended in a near BBS. I really can't ask more on a work morning. I hope everyone has a great Wednesday.

 

Another great shave with my rhodium plated 1937 Sheraton. It 'feels' rough when shaving, but the result is smooth and comfortable. Absolutely no AS feedback. This thing is one sweet shave.

Good morning friends! I had this shave last night before bed. The famed aggression of the Old Type can be easily tamed when you ride the cap and keep a light touch. Three easy drama free passes resulting in a DFS that left me relaxed and ready for bed.

On a side note I don't know if there are different levels of aggression in the Old Type heads depending on when they were made but this one is a pussycat compared to my Le Coq. Have a great day my friends!

Thank you Andrew. I almost always reach for this soap every time this brush comes up in rotation. I can't resist the color pairing. The fact that they both works so well together is an added bonus.
