Excellent shave photo and report Danny. Good deal on changing up the angle of attack. I have had to do the same with some razors.

 

Here in Massychusetts, we have the "sea-saw" effect happening these days. Cold mornings/warm days/cold nights. I hope the weather gets to a more consistent persuasion soon. I think that's what October weather is all about though...see-saw.(In most of the country anyway).

 

It may have been our very own @NCoxSTL who coined the term 'pain stick'.

I figure dark side fits.

Still rolling with the Cooper. Took the Lavanille sample to the bowl and got an ok lather. This is one of the B&M ‘polarizing’ scents, but it works for me. Not enough to buy a full tub though. I haven’t been bowl lathering much lately, usually only for samples and enjoyed it today. I am completely smooth after some minor buffing on my jawline. Hail to the King.

I know it is, Clint, I was just having fun with an accent that I thankfully never developed .

 

I have got into a habit recently, of starting my daily shaves with a few "false strokes" of the razor at a full angle of attack to judge where riding the cap stops and actually shaving starts.
This really helps to align myself with the razor tbh.

I do that with new razors and razors I have not used in a long time. I then continue to adjust the angle from where cutting starts to where it is the most efficient and smooth for me.

 

I feel it is a bit like revving the engine at the lights lol.

 

I recall hearing of a military drill Sgt. requiring a Private to dry shave for a week with a cart as penalty for a 'poorly shaven' face at an inspection.

Was that you?

 

Now that is just not fair. Doubling up with the MonoBilt and that brush is just too much. Great shave Jason.
