    I regret not jumping on the 50% off sale ATT had last Black Friday. I won't make that mistake this year if they do it again.

    A tad rough but I’ve been using a Kai for the last 4 days. I’ll see if it mellows day 2. If not it gets tossed.

    I really like the DOC head.

    Thanks Clint! I'll probably switch it up a bit between the two as travel razors. Although I am thinking the O.R.E.N. is going to need a pouch for a little extra protection. The Single Edge is a beast, and probably fine in the side pouch of the heavy duty Dopp kit I have.

    One other note....don't know if it's been posted. For those remotely thinking of trying out an all Stainless Steel Single Edge v2.0. Email today confirms the price is moving to ~$150 on Nov 1st, but this includes all three base plates. Currently, the Single Edge and the base plates are sold separately for $108. There is another version, a chrome alloy Single Edge, released also Nov 1st that will be at the ~$75 price point. One last note is that Supply Co will also be releasing new blades Nov 1st for the Single Edge. New design for the injector package, new improved coated blade (also a price increase, $6 for 8 blades, instead of $12 for 20). However...a new marketing option also comes into play, any purchase on their site over $35 gets a blade pack for free, and includes free shipping.

    I think it would have to be one heckuva sale for me to pick up one of the high end OneBlades. The hopefully soon to be released Stirling razor is higher up on the wish list.

    My advice is to respect the tool, but do not fear it. Remember, only do the cheeks and nothing more; just to get a feel for the razor. Also, gently land the razor. You will be fine.
