Thank you, Andrew! We blew past the minivan and went to the Suburban with our 4th child. There just is not enough space in a minivan when you go on road trips with 4 kids and luggage (and I am pretty much against taking a plane anywhere with this many kids at this age).

This isn't about shaving, but next week the parking lot used by myself and the other residents in my building will be destroyed and re-done(including a repainting of the parking lot dividers). , thus we'll need to park elsewhere on the Complex. In recent years the crew would just repaint the existing lot(and the dividers)-I don't recall seeing the whole thing be destroyed first. In following weeks, they'll be back, working on the other parking lots, which means our own could be jammed up by residents of other buildings. Fair is fair, I suppose.

 

I'm not quite ready to up-size just yet. But I do understand your reasoning!

The only "verbal comments I received(up to now)came from my sister when I first began shaving in the early 1970's...I was trying out many. When I did English Leather, she said she really likes that one. It's all been non-verbal since then, including what I call the "Supermarket Social Encounter"(SSE) that probably all of you know about by now(What is it about this Clubman, anyway-chuk yuk yuk).

No image day, running behind on time. Just a bit of the schedule....work, visitation starts tonight for sister in law, my dad had a cardiologist visit, and we are celebrating my oldest daughters birthday (17th) a day early...it's a surprise, as we didn't want to do it the same day as her aunt's funeral. And....to top it off, I am cooking a fruit pizza for her 'cake'.

3 pass DFS+. Was missing shaving with a straight. A few laps through the pasted strops/linen/leather, Tanifuji ready to go. The Heritage HMW badger and Castle Forbes, thick and creamy, subdued aroma of 'aristocratic fougère' as CF describes it. Smooth shaving from the Tanifuji, very audible on each pass. First pass was WTG (North - South), second was XTG (nose to ear downward), third was XTG (neck only, ear to nose downward). Little buffing on the right chin/jaw. Smooth as can be, 1 small landing weeper under the nose, no big deal overall. Finished with an aftershave I've had for some time, but never tried, the Chatillon Lux 'Champs de Lavande'. Purchased this in a lot about 6 months ago. It's apparently no longer available, but Shawn at Chatillon Lux has reformulated (from my understanding) into the Weinstrasse fragrance which may be more forward with it's presentation. I'll be able to compare soon, as I've ordered a few samples from him, including the Weinstrasse.

It is the 4th child dilemma. With three, you are already having to play zone defense. The 4th means you have to be really good zone defenders. Especially when the kids start running crossing routes that really should get flagged as illegal pick plays.
