Nice shave, Rick! It seems your granddaughter might be the future owner of a perfume/cologne company ala Chanel.

I think it does. Tuesday night's weigh in came in at 269 grams. Used yesterday morning and weighing in at 271 grams tonight.
I haven't tracked weights on any of my other soaps but if they're all like this that could explain why I have never finished a soap.

I'm still almost 70 posts behind Real Time, but catching up fast!
Hello Willy! Glad you found us. How did you find us? Do you have any idea what you've stepped in? This is a freight train of folks with sharp blades in hand speeding down hill in an out of control juggernaut ride to ... the best shaves we've ever gotten.

So tell us a little about your Shave Journey?
It is Perry. A chain store based in New Orleans , I believe. Most of the Ladies Beauty Supply stores carry Pinaud products, but not Jeris and Masters, too. They also have pucks of soap! Unfortunately is Marvy brand.
Yeah, you made me look. There's a person on Etsy that had a Merit clone. His is sold out, but it looked like this.

Yup, that's what the Heritage brush is going to look like. He told me they will be available in 5 colors. I saw a picture of the prototype in black and butterscotch. Pretty darn nice.

    OCtober with the FAT

    October 3

Razor - Matthew the Haunted Gillette New SC Deluxe
    Blade - [IMG] (3)
Soap - Stirling Glastonbury small stupid sheep.jpg
Brush - 30DC Meet UP LE
    Post - Alum

Onward and forward to the third shave for OCtober. Staying with Matthew to give him another day in the spotlight. Sharp Star on board and, as always, three shaves is nothing for this blade. I always toss at 3, but that's just my routine. These blades can easily go double that. It's Thursday, so a Stirling mutton tallow is up. We'll use the Glastonbury along with the Meet up LE brush with the SynBad bulb knot. I did go ahead and weigh the Stirling, even though it's not part of our discussion, but the lidless tub weighed 225 grams. No water added.

I didn't get the brush as wet as I thought so the load was a bit sluggish. However, with some "dip tipping" by the brush during lathering I got it to produce a really quality Stirling lather. Easy to work with and the mutton tallow is fantastic as always. Two passes, some touch up and I'm a very happy camper. Weight after the shave was.....224 grams. Popping to 223 occasionally. So we'll say 1.5 grams is all that I used out of that tub. Seems like not very much, eh? Anyway, there it is for what it's worth.

I'll get some catching up done but it looks like another busy and fantastic day around here. Keep those great shaves coming and get ready for Friday!!

300+ post catch all catch up. Lots of great shaving hardware and software, awesome write ups and reports. No news is good news from the oncologist, a new razor or two, and a new triple or quad decker storage backdrop we’ll see soon with lots of cool Gillettes in front of it. Some software that got a nose turned on it, and reports that fat never weighs the same.....;)

Apologies if I missed anyone’s specific shave!

Thanks everyone for your kind comments and words on my shave post as well!
