Very nice shave and photo, Jim! I hope you and your family are starting to feel settled in your new abode.

 

I've lined up my shaves for the next 2 weeks, just about. Doing that, and especially for so far ahead, is one thing that makes me look forward to shaving. Some might ask..."But isn't that a bit boring, to be so prepared?". Not me, because I very much like my cold-weather lineup.

I really enjoy this group, but there is no way I can read every post. I scan quickly and read posts that catch my eye. I like the life moments people share and the shave reports. What I am able to read is entertaining. Thanks everyone!

I'll be discussing my shaves over the time period. They include some of my favorite products(Clubman Shave Cream, Clubman Origional A.S., AgadirMen A.S.(Oud Wood), Lumberjack Soap(from The Soap Exchange)....Aqua Velva Musk A.S., among the rest. Oh, did you want the ENTIRE lineup??

 

Razor: Gillette NEW long Comb
Blade: Permasharp
Brush: Parker Faux Horn Silvertip Badger
Soap: Stirling Executive Man
As: Stirling Executive Man

I really enjoyed this shave. This razor and blade combo will certainly be a part of my rotation. It took down my 2 days of growth with ease. I have has great luck with Permasharp blades in several razors.

With my recent success gold plating, I found a LC on eBay for $7 shipped. As expected it eas pretty beat up. I ran it through the tubbler and sanded and polished. Soon I will be gold plating it.

I will likely use the nickel LC most because the nickel is so much more durable, but I need more gold in my den.

Finally knotted the Black Pearl. This knot was generously given to me by Randy @BaylorGator . Thank you again Randy ..I love this knot .
Fuzzy @wchnu has the twin to this brush but with a different knot,
Since i dont have MWF and only 1 OC ,I decided to break out the Luxor Pro for a change of pace . The BOS from Stirling goes good with the Stetson . Have a great Sunday!
