That means I now am in the "BAD" group....just ordered a Clubman brush today. I don't NEED it, but I like how it looks and they say it's a real "soap-scooper"(my quotes).

Thanks for the updates, Joe and @jgreenepa. Bill is a super nice and well-respected gentleman. I will miss him 'round these parts. Prayers for his continued recovery.

Per my Bride's instructions, Paul, I gave Clubman the brush a long time ago. ;)

I have a four-soap rotation going, Paul. It consists of Tabac, MdC original, Stirling Executive Man, and Stirling Arkadia. Both Stirling products are top shelf (slicker than Tabac and MdC), and I like those two scents.

Thanks for that, Charlie. You just have those 4? Sometime soon I'll get another Stoylin-either Xecutive Man or Sharp Dressed Man. No hurry. You might see one of the "Men" as a 2022 Stoylin Tony nominee :).

It is too bad you can't post pictures so we can see your new brush, Paul!

I just have those four soaps, Paul. However, I have a backup MdC puck and a handful of Tabacs sticks/pucks in reserve.

Yes indeed...I should have my nephew over here for "Picture-Posting 101".

I agree. I am subscribed to his You Tube channel so I can can see and hear him wax poetic about his honing exploits and his beloved Essence shavette.

We have been telling you to do it for quite some time. Make sure he also writes the directions in case you forget how to take pix and download on TSD with your cellphone.

I thought you had a Noble Otter once.

:happy088: I got out of my comfort zone to be the gaurdian of this thread. I want to encourage you to get out of your comfort zone and learn how to take pics and download them here. It is not hard. Believe it or not, shaving is harder.

I've never used Noble Otter, but a lot of folks enjoy using it. I used to tease @FaceScraper about the Otter on the label. The artwork on some of the artisan soap labels gets a little crazy, in my opinion. The Otter just looks funny to me. There's probably a story behind it...I'm just not familiar with that brand.

For now, I'm sticking with Stirling and Mike's Natural Soaps for my artisan soaps.

I agree that the artwork of Noble Otter is a little weird. Based on a famous U tuber in W Va., the only decent scent is their Bar Bar. I would never buy their products because their soap's scent strength is reputedly mild.

    :D
    I see I’ve been summoned.
I’ll have you know that I just finished up the Noble Otter “Flying Hide” this week (it takes awhile with 40+ soaps hanging around). I’m going to miss that one since it’s no longer made, and probably never will be again. It’s one of very few soaps that I would repurchase - and I’d do so in a heartbeat. They make some darn good soap. Not that it makes a difference in performance, but their packaging presentation is excellent. Great labels and well thought out. And, that otter is cool as heck. :D
I hope you and the bride are doing well, Charlie!
