Thank you Joe..the Bill Neumann products remain the most expensive I've seen since joining here, but when administered correctly it does make a difference. I think my next move for Doc Neumann is to get 4 oz. soap to match one of the aftershaves i already have.

Thanks, Joe-actually the 8 oz. is the best deal in terms of the economic persuasion, but I go through soaps very slowly.

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Tuckmarr 5/8” Maccassar scales
    Brush: Jack Skully
Lather: Declaration Grooming After the Rain
Aftershave: Declaration Grooming After the Rain
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Alum Block
    Nivea Cool Balm
    Thayer’s Witch Hazel - Original

I decided to change the planned soap and splash from a Williams Wednesday shave to the Declaration Grooming After the Rain following the Nor’easter yesterday. It just seemed a perfect match given the weather. The Nor’easter is still impacting the area with extremely high winds.

Another fabulously close three pass shave with one unfortunate Knick on my upper lip. Probably user error as everything else with this shave was one point. It take a bit of first aid, more than the standard stick, to get it to stop.
No worries, it cleaned up nicely and appears to be nonexistent.

The overall face feel is one of total smoothness. I love the scent and performance of this soap.

Hope you all have a great day gentlemen.

there is a big difference. if we had more new shavers here..they would be learning via a focus or 30 day rule..we just prattle on here in between shaves as friends do.

Fine shave Joe. Cuts happen to everyone and it is part of shaving. Thank goodness that it is a rare event. Enjoy your day!

I have a plan that may infuse our thread with shavers needing to improve their technique and share their concerns. I will not say anything more until I put it into place the beginning of Nov. It may not work, but then again, it may. I have a positive attitude that I will right this ship, but I need everyone's support.
