Glad things are going well for you two! All is fine here, just quite busy. One thing I've always admired about you is your sense of humor, Charlie. Even when the chips were down, you still kept a smile on your face and looked towards the positive.

If you want some craziness in your life, you can come deal with my in-laws.

I have heard that is the bane of many married men. I never married, but if I did get married, then it likely would not be a factor. Now, if you are including spouse's sibling, then I may experience it one day.

Oh NOW I remember your connection to it....you would tease me too by implying that since I've already used 2 Texas soaps, why not make it 3 with NO?

The reason I COULD rubber-stamp my shave report of today from that of yesterday is that I got a nice BBS feel to it all around, and that I also sadly got 3 Knicks. Today's Knicks were easier to control with the aftershave(Paul Sebastian)and the cold-water rinse at the end. The reason I can NOT rubber-stamp it from yesterday is I had different products today. The Simpsons Shaving Cream Soap gave me that BBS feeling.2 passes. 0:40 to lather up the Stoylin brush. Maybe I should have done a minute, like yesterday(another reason to let the rubber stamp go).

About that Paul Sebastian: It's nice, but a little over-rated, I think. You don't get much fragrance with it. Course this is the AFTERSHAVE. PS also comes as a cologne. But that's what I'm talkinabout..maybe the cologne persuasion has a nicer scent feel to it. However as an AS it has a nice FEEL to the face and neck....not unlike Stephan BR. I doubt I'll re-purchase it later, but I suppose it's OK to have now. Most Excellent for the shave grade.

    Good morning, Paul.

I was referring to Martin de Candre shave soap. Details here: https://www.martin-de-candre.com/en/

Some say it's the best shave soap ever. Others say is it is too expensive, and yet others claim the cost per use is reasonable since it is triple milled. I recall the cost was about $65 per puck shipped from France in 2013 or thereabouts.

It lathers well for a vegan soap, but I generally favor tallow soaps. It seems like it will last forever. It's packaged in a nice glass container with a metal lid. The Original version smells great. I have about 2/3 of the Original puck left and a new unscented puck. It should last me a few years in rotation. I'm glad I have it, but it is probably not a candidate for repurchase.

We saw them at an outdoor concert once. We sat next to their traveling fan club. It was an absolute blast. The fans were nuts. We seemed to fit right in. :D
