I'm on the waiting list myself. If yours took 10 months it'll probably be March for me.

You are too kind, my friend. I am no master, but am lucky that I have a hobby that others seem to enjoy the products of as much as I enjoy making them.

No one....and I mean NO ONE...should do what I did after my first one.....my Mom and I went for Chinese. Nothing heavy, as it was for lunch, but.......that evening at home I felt like I was "prepping" again. The next time, I settled for a tuna-fish sandwhich. Wiser.

A rare afternoon shave. I didn’t go into work today as apparently I need to/have been ordered to use up some vacation days. That is why I stayed late last night, to get a few things off my desk before today. I spent several hours in the lathe room this afternoon, which is long overdue. When the stuff is dry I’ll post some pics on the Turner’s thread. Maybe the boss is right, I did need a day off.
Anyway, had a shower and shave afterwards to get the chips and dust off of me. Next up in the OC rotation is this beauty NI, plated to perfection by Evan’s beauty salon. Great lather with this brush that is finally loosening up. The 3 passes weren’t super smooth, tbh. Pulled the blade afterwards- Either a Polsilver or a Wizamet as they have the same markings- (I could go back to previous posts to find out, but I don’t really care). Quality either way, so it must be past date.
Finished with a copious amount of Eau Sauvage. No one here at 3 pm besides two dogs and two cats, but who cares. Let them revel in the mid century awesome sauce.
    Have a great evening all!

Great looking shaves, Terry! The slantified razors were a great idea.
I'm glad your test was fine and you're feeling well. The post-op meal sounds delish.
