Thanks Joe and everyone who responded! Today was a little busy but it was a good day. Real life comes along on vacation too. We had a great time. I share the experience triumphantly, proud that we kept a potentially bad situation to a minor inconvenience. But, if we had been stranded in a small town truck stop parking lot, we'd all still be alive and we'd still would have had a great time.

Any vacation you survive is a good vacation!

    Shaving recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower / Original Source ~ Tingly Mint & Tea Tree Shower Gel.
    Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Simple ~ Sensitive Bar Soap + Wilko Men's shave Oil.
    Brush : Omega 10077.
    Face Lather.
    Soap : Proraso ~ Sandalwood.
    Blade: Mers ~ SuperShave X Platinum. (1)
Razor: Ming Shi 2000s (Settings) 2.5-wtg,2.5-wtg, 3-atg+pick ups.

    Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade peppermint Lavender, +eucalyptus, Tea Tree Oil Witch Hazel Mixture./ Boots ~ Freshwood ASL./L'0REAL ~ Barber Club Reinforcing ASB.

    Greetings,

    Early morning cold water shave,

I've mentioned in my past posting the Ming Shi 2000s is by far the most assertive/aggressive of all my adjustable razors.
The Ming Shi 2000s has a strong Love/Hate reputation within the wet shaving community...Mine was past on to me by a family friend, i also have a spare one too which i purchased myself as a spare both of them have good blade alignment, i personally find it to be a very good assertive razor. However, even on it's lowest setting it's still a very aggressive razor you must be it's master instantly when shaving with this Chinese made princess, It doesn't allow bad technique, or lack of concentration and most importantly the lightest of touch and much respect is vital if not, it'll bite you for sure.
Another excellent razor & blade duo mowing through my stubble with effortless ease..A enjoyable 3 pass + pick ups BBS near shave with no errors to report.

Finishing to the shave off with a generous dollop of L'0REAL ~ Barber Club Reinforcing ASB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy your Day ladies & gentlemen.

Fabulous Autumnal shave this morning. Wet morning to start off, however, nicer and warmer later. Approximately a week and a half before the fireplace begins to warm the house for the next 6 months.

The JR Torrey did the job with the usual three pass. A nice, thick lather provided an excellent cushion for the blade to glide effortlessly across the surface. I love the smell of the scent on both the soap and splash. Guaranteed to get periodic whiffs throughout the day.

    Have a great day.

    ALABAMA awesomeness this morning!

I heard a rumbling from the Above the Tie case. I thought I even heard something about ringing a bird's neck so I decided to pay the ATTs a little attention.

The Atlas handle with the R2 aluminum plate and a Feather is a dream to drive. The Alabama made Soap Commander was on par and amazing this morning. Two passes and some touch ups and I am smooth. Finished it up with the matching balm.

Hope every one has a great day!
