Oh bummer, I didn't know he had stopped the jar-selling of the block. I had planned on getting one of those if I like the red-jar one. :(

Cella is one of my top 5 soaps. I still like Palmolive more, but this is one of the best ever IMO.

Who has the best Cella connection?

    Kilo block or tub?
Italian Barber, on sale now $9.75 tub.

Thanks. That is a good price for the tub.

Nope. Connaught has it for $8.37 or two for $13.39. I don't know how shipping is cheaper from UK than Canada but it is :D

Does anyone sell the 1kg split into tubs like ItalianBarber used to do?

Italian Barber also has the 1kg for 34.95. Buy the kilo - leave something for your great grandkids

    Connaught has it for $25

…which has me considering a Cella kilo purchase; then parsing it out to fellow members @ a price cheaper than the tub (say around $5-5.50/150g amount).
    A win-win for all interested.

I split mine with my brother. We both have enough for a long time.

Connaught is my default shopping place as their prices are often SO good.
That and vintagescent for Semogue brushes :)

That sounds like a really interesting idea especially since I just heard from Joe confirming that ItalianBarber will not be selling the Cella brick in jars any more.

Chuck F Cheesy! Big Curd style

That is an excellent idea. I'd certainly get in on it.

Wow! This is an old thread. Cella is as of now my only soap, all the rest are creams. It lathers almost like a cream and the smell is just great. I have used it at least 2 times a week since May and the tub is still half full. :D

    Soap + Cream = Croap
There's a number of threads where the names of these 'creamy soaps' come up.

So then Cella is the 'Cream of the Croap' :happy088:

I have more than enough soap but I always have a hard time resisting the urge to add a kilo to my order :)

    Neolithium I am Canadian, eh

I have mine in a ziplock bag in a regular dark place in my house - keeps forever too, though I've already gone through probably 250g cause I love it so much.

I bought a kilo from Connaught in March and since about mid-May it's all I've been using (well almost - there was a week back in June when I was guinea-pigging some new creams for another forum).

I don't keep it refrigerated or anything like that, just well wrapped and at the bottom of a linen cupboard, and that seems to be working just fine.
