All I see when I look at that is a dozen brushes waiting to happen. I don't have any mugs, but I have the old bottles, which I refill from the cute little plastic refill bottles they sell nowadays. I also picked up two of the Old Spice shirts they were selling at Walmart.
Here are my three mugs. One is empty, and the other two hold Gingers Garden Soaps Sandalwood in the Ship Recovery and Rose Petal in the Middle Shaving Mug. I need to browse Irena's massive scent list to select my next to fill up the Ship Friendship. I also have these cool ols AS bottles. They are all Shulton and are unfortunately empty. Except the green lantern, I use that one!!
Thanks Bobcat! They're one of those swap meet finds where the guy just thought they were junk. A buck a bottle!! felt like robbery!
I would like to have one of these too...but the prices on the internet are so high, that i will not buy one. Even if i like it very much...
Love old spice, I need to look into one of those mugs. MY Dad still uses the original old spice. I can still clearly remember the first time I decided I wanted to use Dad's Old Spice I think I was 5 if that oh the burn LOL.
My Mom just scored an old spice mug and vintage razor at a flea market for me, can't wait to check them out. Ill post some pics when I do!
Picked up my treasure today. Sweet find! Glass mug 05 and a 1967 black handled super speed date code M4. $11
Here's mine From this site http://www.oldspicecollectibles.com/Mugs/American Glass.html they are early glass mug 01 and 02(48 to early 50's), 05 (late 50's to 60) and Belgium mug 02.
It used to be common to find 'em in the wild for $10 or less. Now, not so much. They've become hard to find, and the last one I did find was close to $20 - too much for me.
In Denmark they "don't exist" so I had to import one. I paid close to 30$ - too much for me but I had to own one. I'd love to be able to stumble upon them in the wild. Safety razors also. But alas I live in the wrong country for that
I have an Old Spice mug I bought new in 1976. It still has some of the original soap left in it. Before wet shaving became a hobby for me, about 18 months ago, I only used my brush once in awhile. Now the soap is finally down to a ring in the bottom of the mug. I am going to say with that one until I finish it so I can finally say I finished a soap puck of the many I now have.
Look at this that I posted on my Dropbox, maybe something there................ https://www.dropbox.com/sh/xue96wweyhwbyfv/AAAN58HQ3vgGtBJp609-mgM7a?dl=0
I have three, one of which was my father's. I use one for my Haslinger soap pucks. They fit perfectly.
I'm down to these three OS mugs. Sent one to Jack @Sparrow in the mugless Far East. After I figured out I preferred a wider bowl I stopped seeking them. OK, I still look but I'm not on the hunt.
