The scent of this soap is exactly what the doctor ordered on this wet and windy Sunday morning, and was rounded off nicely with the equally warming aroma of the Pashana.

As far as I know the blade exposure should be the same on both sides. I have two of them and the blade sits evenly on both.

 

Something is off then, those shoulders on the base plate do hold a blade with no wiggle so the cap is probably the culprit then. Shaves fine otherwise on the side with more blade exposure. I haven't used the other side yet.
