Nice razor. Do you find as extremely mild as I do?

This 7 O'Clock New Long Comb is a favorite of mine. It's on the mild side, but after 3 passes with a Dorco Prime blade, I had a very comfortable DFS. The Cella was lathered with a Yaqi 26mm Timberwolf. What isn't in the pic is the Cella balm that I used for the first and last time. I like the sweet almond scent, so I foolishly thought that would be what the balm smells like....but no, like La Toja and other soap scents I like, the balms and after shaves apparently have to have a completely different cologne fragrance. It's too much for me, and SWMBO absolutely hates it. Live and learn. Luckily I know a local shaver who tends to go for that scent, so he'll be getting a new balm.

Since it is O.C.tober time to give this razor a try. For a mild razor this one really performed well beyond my expectations. I got a BBS shave first time out with no irritation. If it keeps performing this one is going to break my regular shave rotation of razors.

Thanks Gary. It has a cracked handle like many ball ends, but still shaves great.

 

if you wanted there is the razor emporium repro handle..i am thinking about one for my early new lc razors.

 

Last time I checked, it only came in nickel..

I do not find my Damaskeene extremely mild, that said I find it mild on the mid range scale if that does not confuse things to much.
