Probak razor with Bic Chrome Platinum blade.

The one I used is the razor on the left in both pictures.


What is interesting and the reason for showing both is they shave differently. The one on the left is more aggressive and shaves similar to a Gillette Goodwill 160 while the one on the right is much milder and more akin to a Gillette New Long comb.

Best I can tell the curvature of the plates are slightly different, if that is the case then the one on the left will have some more blade gap than the other which could account for it being more aggressive.

If anyone is in the market for a Probak this is something to keep in mind when examining the razors before purchasing.
