It looks like the case my Sheraton came in. The Sheraton (in case you're not familiar) is a gold plated Senator.

 

Ended up getting a Senator in case. Now have two Senator cases. Also found a Sheraton since then.

Hello everyone, I haven't been posting very many SOTD photos lately, but I wanted to post this one today.

1930's Gem MMOC.

Chinese badger hair brush.
Maggards London Barbershop artisan soap.
Nivea post shave balm.
Vintage English Leather as splash.
Vintage English Leather cologne.

Today's shave was fantastic. I forgot how good these Micromatic SE razors shave. I'll call this shave a BBS in two passes. Here's the photo-

The Frankenrazor was a UFO Kaiser handle/ English Gillette New LC. The rest is probably self explanatory.

Hello all, here's a look at today's OC SOTD;



The razor handle is a UFO Kaiser, the razor head is a Maggards V2OC. I absolutely love this combo. Really, any handle matched with this V2OC works well. This razor head is awesome! Have a great day!

It's a gorgeous handle Alan and I completely agree with you, the V2OC matches with any handle it's just a great shaver...efficient yet smooth.

 

Thank you for the kind words. The brush was made by Rudy Vey. It's his take on a M7 handle design made of Faux Briar resin. The knot is a Shavemac Finest with a finished loft of 26mm by 52mm. I just contacted Rudy with my ideas on the brush and after several emails back and forth we agreed on the design and price. He was a true gentleman and a pleasure to work with on such a project.
