    I brought out my Gillette NEW SC from about a 9 month hiatus. Can't remember why I put it aside!

    A great shave this morning. The Route 66 Perfect Storm was very easy to work into a rich slick lather. Sticking with a 3 pass shave with minimal touch ups ended in a near BBS. Finished off the shave with a splash of Floid Blue. I hope everyone has a fantastic Thursday.

    Very nice Clint. If you had to choose the Timeless or the Wolfman, which would you choose (OC of course)?

    Very good question. I will ask Mark @Boojum1 to chime in as well. In terms of fit and finish they are very close with a slight edge to the Wolfman. The coolness factor goes to the Timeless hands down. I have 1 Wolfman OC with the standard gap and 1 with the increased gap of 0.74mm. The Timeless OC is closer to the Wolfman with the increased gap. Both are very efficient and between the 2 it would be a touch choice. Given that the Timeless is readily available and the Wolfman not so easily, I would go with the Timeless.

    jimjo1031 never bloomed myself

    Used my New Short Comb head on a SS handle with a Voskhod blade and as always, it did not disappoint. Had a great BBS shave without any irritation........... IMG_0634.jpg

    It's a got a few hairline cracks, some plating loss (Might need a trip to RazorPlate for some silver :) ), and a one very slightly bent outer tooth but it ought to be a great shaver!

    Hi fellow Shave Denizens, here's today's OC SOTD;

    1906 Gillette Single Ring.
    Vintage Gillette Blue Blade.
    Kent BLK2 badger brush.
    Cella shave soap.
    Nivea post shave balm.
    Avon Mesmerize aftershave lotion.
    Avon Mesmerize cologne.

    [IMG]

    This is a very aggressive razor/blade combo. I have found the vintage Gillette blades to be an extremely efficient blade to pair my Single Rings with. Unfortunately as far as this shave is concerned I hurried a little too much on the last pass, and gave myself some road rash on my face. Other than that, the shave is a DFS in two passes. Every time I rush a shave with this combination of razor and blade, I end up bloody. Lesson Finally Learned! Have a great day all!

    MR v2.0 Open Comb head with a MR5 Handle and this handle is quite heavy and the balance of this razor all together is fantastic.
