I found this and was wondering if the handle is original to the razor.
I am doubtful, but thought I'd ask the experts.. IMG_2645-3.jpg

There were several different handles, and some that were unique to English made razors, but I've not seen that one before.

Does the bottom pull out like this one, or is it solid?

The knurling on yours is coarse and deep cut, which usually means that it's relatively modern.

Ill let you know. I'm on my way to look at it. I thought it looked like a newer handle as well.

The handle seems to be missing a bottom piece or endcap.

I have never seen that handle on a GEM.

It was definitely not original. Unique nonetheless. No markings, but it was missing an endpiece

What is the purpose of the pull out handle? I've never seen one of those.

    It's a blade stropper handle.
