Atlantic Ocean waves crashing in to the Acadia NP, Maine Otter Point granite coast line. Awesome!!!!!!!
There was a big geomagnetic storm that hit earth the last few mights. Two nights ago I went out to photograph the Aurora. It was beautiful!
Thank you! I feel blessed to live in Alberta, where you can see the Aurora most nights (outside of town). These have been touched up, mostly getting rid of air haze and darkening the foreground so it doesn't steal from the lights.
I enjoyed a brief visit to your beautiful province a couple of years ago during the winter. No auroras, but amazing mountains and snow!
Wow you are really making that new lens shine. Wonderful images, you have a real talent for photography.
Thank you very much! I still consider myself an amateur, but I am to the point where I am very proud of my shots! The 35mm is fantastic. It's insane to see the level of detail it picks up. For example in the panorama. The original file let's you see the cars and lights beside the house, as well as the individual branches on the trees. I am happy with it and it seems to be happy with me.
Here's a few more: Dorothy, Alberta: Just north of my daughters dance studio: Mossleigh, Alberta: Herronton, Alberta:
Shot this around 7am today. Going down from the top right we have Venus, Jupiter and Mars. In the bottom left there is Mercury. There was a slight fog in the air, hence the halos.
A couple recent sunset ones from my walks. Our town puts quite a bit of land aside for open space, parks, and nature areas.
