Today we went to a summerhouse. It has been kindly lent to us for the weekend by one of my Wife's kind colleagues. We had no idea what to expect, but after just a few minutes walk we came across this :
Just came back from the summerhouse and took this photo. Thought it appropriate/ odd at this time of year.
My wife got some bulbs from Publishers Clearing House and put them in the ground last September I think. She did not keep the papers on them so she did not know what they were. During the last snow, they started coming up. We asked around and no one knew what they were, but everyone liked them. I took this picture and did a Google image search and found out they are Anemone De Caen or Dutch Wildflowers. The close up at night and open again once the sun is up. We shall see how they tolerate the heat this summer.
Dry Falls near Highlands, NC. You can walk behind the falls and stay relatively dry, hence the name. Beautiful place!
Yes! Here are a few pics my wife took of hummingbirds through our living room window! Who knew a stupid phone camera could pause a hummingbird?
Thanks, Roby. My wife took them on a couple of different days. If I didn't know they were from a phone, through our living room window, I never would have believed it.
