SOTD August 4, 2016 Blade: Chinese Schick Razor: PAL Injectomatic Brush: Artisan badger Lather: Soap Commander Fortitude Post: Witch hazel splash, Speick, Nivea sensitive balm WTG, touch-up Nice, smooth shave with the Injectomatic. Thanks again Tom for sharing your hardware! I went with a light, light touch and was not disappointed. It shaves similar to a Schick G for me but with even more efficiency. It's not aggressive by any means. I found it to be quite smooth, but I can also see how too much pressure or careless wielding could lead to a slice and dice shave. I'll be careful to keep the pressure light in my trial run. First impressions and results are all positive! Have a great day!
SOTD August 5, 2016 Blade: Chinese Schick Razor: PAL Injecto-matic Brush: Omega 10049 boar Lather: Mitchell's Wool Fat Post: Witch hazel splash enhanced with Barbasol Pacific Rush, Nivea sensitive balm WTG, touch-up Nice shave again this morning with the Injecto-matic. Went with Mitchell's Wool Fat this morning as I do most Fridays. Great soap. However, I will say that yesterday's shave was more comfortable. I used Soap Commander yesterday and the post-shave feel was better than today's after using the Fat. But, that's all soap related! Let's talk about the razor. I find it easy to use, comfortable, and efficient. The Chick blade works great with the PAL. I could this razor being my daily driver if I owned one. Thanks again, Tom! Have a great Friday everyone!
First shave with my new Injecto-Matic. It was a fine shave. The shape of the handle is something I will have to master. The Schick handle is a hard one to beat. I will be using this one for the next week. The results are great, but the feel of the handle is the issue right now. Am I too old to adjust? We shall see. It was a first time for the razor, the Jayarun #86, and the Aqua Velva Musk AS.
@Jayaruh the handle was the only thing I could find that I didn't like, but it wasn't enough of a turn off to stop me from buying one should I have the chance.
Well @twhite , you can take me off the list. I just bought one! My wife will be screaming at me when it hits the mailbox, but based on everyone's reviews, my punishment will be worth it!
Will do. You will enjoy the razor. It is one of my very favorite injectors. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

SOTD August 6, 2016 Blade: Chinese Schick Razor: PAL Injectomatic Brush: Semogue 1520 boar Lather: Truefitt & Hill luxury shave soap Post: Witch hazel splash, Country Club Sweet Water, Nivea sensitive balm WTG, XTG Decent shave today, not my best but not near the worst either. The Truefitt & Hill soap is new to me (I got it in a PIF). It loaded in the brush pretty well but just didn't come together for the lather that I like. I probably should've started all over but didn't. The lather dried on me some and just wasn't that slick. The PAL Injecto-matic was great again but I now see the benefits of better lather when using a razor like this. First pass reduction was not great so I went in for a full second pass. I ended up with some smooth, close areas on my cheeks, but my chin and lower neck aren't as smooth. Oh well.....it'll all be fine in the end! Have a great evening!
SOTD August 8, 2016 Blade: Chinese Schick Razor: PAL Injecto-Matic Brush: Satin Tip 'The Purest' synthetic Lather: Maggards Orange Menthol Post: Witch hazel splash, Maggards Orange Menthol splash, Nivea sensitive balm WTG, touch-up Nice shave this morning with the PAL Injecto-Matic. Quick and efficient shaving. The Orange Menthol products provided a nice cooling effect. I've enjoyed trying out this razor on a pass-around and look to send it off to the next recipient. That looks to be @Bama Samurai. Thanks again for the opportunity, Tom! Hope you have a great day!
Today was the maiden voyage of my new to me PAL Injectomatic. I lathered up some Stirling glacial lemon chill with my Semogue boar (I'm in the "use it till it's empty" club) for a nice and cool lather on this hot summer morning. This soap provides a rich and slick lather that will really open your eyes early in the morning. I applied no pressure when using the razor and just let it glide over my face. The first pass was fantastic! There wasn't a whisker left in its path! Just for good measure, I relathered and did a second pass because I was going for a BBS today. I guess I got a little careless and nicked my nostril. You know those hard to reach spots. Nothing bad, but the blood did flow for a moment. I'll blame this one on myself and not the razor as I've done this many times in the past with other razors. I also had one small weeper above the lip that that I normally wouldn't even consider, but I am writing a review now. Anyway, I did achieve a BBS with the PAL in two easy passes and got a "dolphin" smooth shave! This razor definitely feels more aggressive than the Schick E and could be compared to a fatboy on a 7 or a red tip. It did not feel as smooth on my face as a Schick E or G, but that is due to the aggressiveness of the razor. The injectomatic clearly provided the closer shave for me. The weight, balance and maneuverability of this razor is excellent! You can easily get this razor in all of the more difficult spots on your face. As far as the handle goes, well, I like it. I think it provides an excellent grip and the little angle end is a good spot to place your ring finger or pinky. If you've used Schick injectors and like them, the PAL should be on your short list. Aggressive, efficient and well balanced! It really is that good! So, do yourself a favor and contact @twhite to get on his generous pass around list.
Roby, following these threads and reading all the feedback has been quite helpful. This razor was a good acquisition!
The PAL has landed on the prairie East of Denver, CO, USA! Will use it Thursday through Sunday, and will post it here. Tonight, I will try and get caught up on the thread! Hope you all have a nice evening, and Happy Thursday to those reading from the UK and Europe!
