Phoenix Artisan you stole my heart

I wish I'd gotten a better example, but the one I got had QC issues that ruined the company as a whole for me. Don't know that I'll ever own one of their products again. The one shave I had with the DOC was great though so I know of which you speak.

 

After today's shave I'm pretty comfortable saying this is a really good newbie razor. It's very mild. Probably the mildest razor I've ever tried. I did a lot of blade buffing and I'm still not BBS but the shave was very comfortable. Need to try this thing with a Feather. I'm using a Lab in it right now and it's good but I think it would be even better with an even sharper blade.
