Too early for me to judge, as Gents Gin is my first. I plan to get Whiskey Woods., but not for a while. But, as always, I'm happy to "broadcast" the survey!! .
And, as we break out another poll, we find that Gent's Gin is in the early lead(course GG has the only vote so far, but I won't mention that lol...stay tuned for further updates).
I've never tried a Clubman's Reserve. The Gent's Gin sounds wonderful. Does anyone know if there is there any skin food in these?
It appears none are in the Gent's Gin, but I want to emphasize "appears". I just checked the FAQ's in the Clubman website: Numbers 8 and 9 may help. That's the best I can do unless there's a toll-free number you can call. Hopefully others will have clearer info than me.
A good clue to confirm that is how it is described(well, all 3 of the Reserves)..."We put the BAR in Barbershop" .
Not much - like all the Clubman aftershaves. I always add 30 or 40 drops of glycerin, which is cheap and easy. Makes all the difference!
I bought some and added.... 7 drops of lime essential oil. Smells yummy!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Well, I don 't know how long this "race" will be, but Gent's Gin has a commanding lead at this point. The lead is by only one vote, but by 17%. Do the math.
I'm not much on "skin food" pertaining to shaving(that is. I'd need some examples). On the Gents Gin I saw "Flower Extract, Leaf Extract, Water"(among the other ingredients). Y'know, the shave company that best describes "Skin Food", IMO, is Bill Neumann(Wm. Neumann Co.). They go all out to describe the way their ingredients help the skin. Perhaps a Chemistry professor could best help here, John. Someone like....ohhhh...@Trigger.
