Pinaud Clubman to Glass and Upgrade That Scent.

I asked the seller of the bottles that were linked here about the opening size and they stated the opening is 3/4 inch or about 20 mm so I think you would need a 20 mm orifice reducer for the glass bottles ..it could be 19 , it's one of those....

 

Well, just decanted mine into a beer bottle with flip top.

No stopper, so, be aware when pouring.

It's a little tall for my liking, but hope it's all better with the stench gone.

Have some more, so now thinking if also do my wichthazel ones.

Just acquired four (4) After Shaves in original glass bottles. I have an email in to Pinaud to see if they know when they stopped selling these in glass. The Revco price stickers and back UPC bar code help to (somewhat) date them (after 1974, before 1997).

 

clubman reserve Gent's Gin decanted into a 1970s chanel bottle.nice and smooth.gone is that twangy sharp plastic scent..

 

That's a lot of Gent's Gin(course it just looks that way as your new bottle isn't a normal Clubman plastic bottle).

Are you saying the original Clubman Gent's Gin is history, or that its scent knocks away that of the Chanel?

i am saying the gent's gin lost it's plastic smell once i decanted it into the chanel bottle..

 

Oh ok. Decanting aftershaves is one thing I have yet to do.

lustray blue spice when decanted will become sharper and the baby powder note becomes more prominent in about 2 weeks. i took the cap off every day and let it breathe 10-15 minutes while getting ready for work,recapped it and gave it a good shake
