That looks sweet. Where's your guy located? (The Fatboy's out for delivery, so it should be waiting for me when I get off work. It needs some scrubbing, and I'll decide what to do with it after I get the grunge off. But the black nickel still may be the way to go.)
. Chris is in NC. He has a website: www.RazorPlate.com. He does this on the side of his full time job so he tends to get a backlog. If you're willing to wait he's worth it. He's working "by appointment" so to speak, meaning you need to email him and see how long things might take. On the website are all the finishes, rhodium, nickel, gold...etc. and his prices. I don't see black nickel, but he might offer it. He does black rhodium.
Black rhodium *shiver down the spine* It was listed as an F4...soaking in a bowl of hot Dawn as we speak. Adjustment seems right, gap looks even, doors close tight. I think I've got a keeper.
It came with some of these (image courtesy mr-razor), but without "the Spolier" tag... ...so, that's what I used. Set it on "5" and went to town. One tiny weeper near my Adam's apple (going XTG), but other than that, a DFS. Short, stubby, and hefty it is, but handles nice.
