The knurling is definately different on the TTO knob.

 

Never really been a razor aficionado gents so excuse my ignorance. What is a New Improved and a NEW? Brand names presumably?

 

Nope......... The are different styles of the Gillette open combs. One of the other guys will most likely chime in with a picture tutorial................
