My water is very hard too, so I am going to experiment tomorrow with some distilled water and see what happens.
Proraso I had just started to get used to Proraso, though I still don't think its as dense as the Body shop or Taylors creams I use. I now suspect I'm slightly allergic to it. I've had my suspicians for a while about eucalyptus and menthol type products. Since giving the remainder of the tube to my Dad my skin is getting better. I was even starting to like it. :ashamed001 MWF and Trumpers Rose it is then for the time being. Then I may try some Erasmic as recommended by Crackstar.
My story is quite a bit different that some in this thread. My first ever DE experience was using a soap and I really had trouble - poor lather, cuts, no cushion. I thought I had made a mistake switching from a Mach3 / blue goo. My 2nd day, I tried Proraso green and I knew I made a good choice. I had a great lather and shave. I also like the scent and love the menthol. I just love the stuff. I have a feeling Proraso will be in my rotation for a very long time.
