Got it. Thanks. Hmmm....Floid Blue, Raw Vanilla...other interesting things on there. Anherb at $9. Need to read more...
Some of those you mention are "Available soon", and have been for awhile. Last thing I heard, Giovanni wasn't going to be getting the Floids in at all.
I have another couple of questions to ask also......... 1 Does talc clog the pores at all if you tend to have oily skin? 2 At what point of the whole shaving routine do you apply the talc, meaning before or after the aftershave, or no aftershave, or after the Thayer's etc etc? Cheers John
Hey John 1) Most, if not all "talcs" are very highly micronized.....so I can't see pore clogging being an issue. As a matter of fact, I think gents with oily skin could benefit from a talc as it might help to control it 2) I have recently re-juggled my post-shave routine around to accommodate talc use: (after shave) -WWR -CWR -Balm or post shave cream, let sit for a few moments while washing brush -Aftershave splash, let sit for a few moments -CWR -After skin is dry (usually just before leaving the house), lightly massage a small amount of talc
I wouldn't mind being able to use some talcs, but I have a problem---it chokes me. Even a small amount, and in a second, it has me coughing and wheezing.
Thanks Joe, I have just this moment ordered some of this talc from R&B. I guess I will need a special talc brush now to apply it. I find it interesting that you have a CWR after applying your aftershave, does this not defeat the purpose of the aftershave, or has the aftershave done it's job and you are no longer interested in the lingering scent of it? Just curious, because I do find this quite interesting as to which way people do their rotation with stuff. Cheers John
I don't use a talc brush, just sprinkle a small amount into my hand, rub the hands together to distribute.......and gently massage the face. Works great this way. As for the CWR after the aftershave splash, I have been doing this for quite some time and it works great for me. I get all the cooling/antiseptic/astringent qualities without the drying effects. Here's some more info about this unorthodox procedure: Booyah
