I own many razors with Celluloid Scales, and there isn't any signs of "Cell Rot". The only one I've ever bought with Cell Rot was a Beau Brummel. The blade was completely rotted through, but the brass/silver fixtures on the scales were what I was wanting. So, I rescued them, for a future transplant. From what I was told, Beau Brummel is made by Dubl Duck. Something about their Celluloid Material is much more prone to rot. Oh, I've seen a lot of Otto Deutch Razors with cell rot too.
