Ranking The Wet Shave Tools...Your Preference

There should be one more category... "All of the above." Some days I may like one aspect over the others in no particular order. Some days I don't like any and I don't shave. Then there's the time factor. I hate to have to rush my shave but at times it's necessary. Then it's just a shave not much thought to likes and dislikes.

 

Before I read this thread, it never even occurred to me that anyone would enjoy the products used in a ranked order. I certainly do not. Good performers in all categories are necessary to get a good shave. I care about the overall quality of the shave, the tools used are irrelevant as long as they work well together.

The razor won't work very well without a blade. Which came first, the razor or the blade?

 

I was considering the SR, or a razor with blade.

 

No polls visible in Tapatalk, but blade is #1 for me.

 

I suppose one could rank the shaving times based upon the financial commitment one places upon each. I know for me, the lion's share of my budget probably goes towards the hardware rather than the software. I spend far more (proportionally) on razors & soap than on aftershaves and brushes.

With a good brush I can lather up almost any shave soap, even the lowly Williams, so soap is last on my worry list.
