That is beautiful. I have one myself and it's one of my two favorite, go to razors. The other being a Blackland Dart. I usually set mine at 3.5 most of the time. For a more aggressive shave, when I am in the mood, I use the Dart I would love to hear your thoughts, after a week of shaving!

Indeed. Used it today with the included merkur blade on setting 3.5 for 3 passes and got a great shave. I think if i put an astra sp or a personna platinum in there it could be even better.
Thanks for all the happy birthdays as well. I turn 45 this year and wife turns 40. The big party will have to wait later this summer.
For what it's worth, I tried at least 5 or 6 different blades, in mine, and finally settled on the Astra SP, as my go to blade, for that razor.
Put an astra in it today actually! Got a few nicks along the corners of my mouth, but man what a close shave! May have to knock it down a notch or two on the final pass, at least in my trouble areas.
